 Graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts in Management Economics. In 1997 he received the Certified Financial Planner designation conferred by the Financial Planning Standards Council of Canada, now FP Canada. Darren is a Chartered Investment Manager and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, and is licensed as a Portfolio Manager. For decades Darren has provided comprehensive Wealth Management for Canadians from our headquarters on Vancouver Island. He resides on Vancouver Island and is the Chair of the Vancouver Island University Foundation.  

 An Investment Advisor with Aligned Capital Partners Inc. and specializing in personal and corporate insurance solutions, Sarah graduated as co-valedictorian from Vancouver Island University with a Bachelor in Business Administration (Finance). Sarah collaborates with clients on life goals and creates financial road maps to get clients 'on track' via cash flow management and prioritizing long term goals through suitable Investment Plans. Sarah is one of the Former Presidents of the Young Professionals of Nanaimo. 

A seasoned Financial Assistant, Jenn Kelly has worked in wealth management since 2008. In 2014 she left retail banking for the investment sector, working as a financial assistant in the Independent Advisor space. In 2021 – recognizing a growing demand from Advisors needing an Assistant who could work virtually and on an “as needed” basis to help support a variety of administrative functions – Jenn piloted her idea and offered her services throughout 2021. The positive response resulted in the formal launch of Bluelight Financial in January of 2022. As an Independent Financial Assistant, she has quickly become a valuable and reliable asset to many local Advisors.  

Jenn lives in Southern Ontario with her husband, two grown children, one feisty Boxer named Yara and one tolerant cat named Zoey. She is an avid reader, loves swimming and hiking the trails with her dog.
